Cosima De Vito

ARIA Winning Singer-Songwriter & Performer

Vocal powerhouse Cosima De Vito is a fiery Italian songstress born and raised in Perth, Australia. With a grandfather who was a gifted Italian tenor, music was always in her blood.

At just nine years old she entered her first talent quest, performed The Greatest Love of All, and walked off with first prize, without her parents' knowledge. In 2003 she appeared on the first season of Australian Idol, reaching the top three and captivating audiences with her beautiful rendition of When The War Is Over. That song became her debut single, reaching platinum status and debuting at #1 on the ARIA charts, making her the first ever independent artist to achieve this upon release.

Following her ARIA win, Cosima recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy and Golden Globe award winner Diane Warren. Her self-titled debut album hit #2 on the ARIA chart and was certified gold on release. Her follow-up album This Is Now continued her writing success, with Cosima penning numerous tracks herself.

On stage, Cosima starred in the sold-out Australian tour of Hair and has performed at the Prime Minister's Parliament Gala Dinner, the Dream Foundations Gala Dinner in Los Angeles, and Channel 7's iconic Carols by Candlelight. She has performed the national anthem at Melbourne Cup, State of Origin, and multiple major sporting events.

With the promise of new music and an ever-growing fanbase, Cosima shows no signs of slowing down.
